Rachele Brown

(pronounced Rachel)

My calling to serve families through birth work began like many other doulas; the birth of my own children. The monumental experiences of each of them granted me acute awareness of the sheer power women possess to bring their children into this world with dignity intact.

Inspired by my doula, and a passionate desire to help women achieve their own healing births, I began consciously creating a sisterhood of women who hold similar birth and family values in 2021. By the end of that year, I made the choice for internship over certification and joined Jen at Sacred Space Birth Services. I spent the following year attending home births, hospital births, and women delivering at the birth center. The varying opportunities gave me priceless insight. As an intern, I was provided firsthand experiences to immersively watch and learn from a like-minded doula. I witnessed the sacredness of the birthing space and how to come alongside families to offer wholistic support towards birth fulfillment. I was also trained in the art of placenta keepsakes and placenta encapsulation during this time.

January of the same year, I began attending a 100-hour course specializing in craniosacral therapy and myofascial unwinding. Taught by Dr. Carol Phillips, I am fully trained in the Dynamic Body Balancing healing modality. I began treating pregnant women and patients of all ages after completing the main training course in January 2022. Less than a year later, I received my craniosacral therapy certification and officially graduated from my doula internship. The gracious mothers and families that allowed me the chance to grow my knowledge through experience, combined with the not so common choice to intern, have left me with a well-rounded skill set and unique upper hand as I began work within my own practice.

Driven by the innate ability of the body, I fully believe you are able to birth your baby in the way you desire. I believe in birth restoration as a birthright and I've committed myself to empowering women to achieve this dream by providing a safe space to assess your mind, body, and spiritual well-being. My goal is to help prepare you to confidently arrive at your birthing time with the peace, clarity, and knowledge to turn your dreams into reality.
