Lotus birth is the practice of not separating motherbaby through the cutting of the umbilical cord. Instead the cord is left intact. It is carefully preserved and cared for over 3-5 days until it is dried and falls off naturally. The combination of herbs used in our lotus birth herbs are chosen to help dry the cord quickly, while keeping bacteria and smells at bay. It is salt free. We recommend purchasing our placenta preservation salts to use in addition to the herbs for best results.
